Upgrade your home’s energy efficiency with an SEAI energy grant tailored to homeowners looking to reduce energy bills and improve comfort.
SEAI Home Energy Grant
Upgrade your home with an SEAI energy grant. Lower your energy bills. Live more comfortably.
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) provides a range of home energy grants to help homeowners across Ireland improve energy efficiency, reduce heating costs, and lower carbon emissions. Whether you’re planning minor upgrades or a complete retrofit, SEAI grants can help cover the cost of insulation, heat pumps, solar panels, and more.
Homeowners (including landlords and private tenants) can apply for SEAI grants, provided the property is located in Ireland and was built before certain eligibility cut-off dates (varies by grant). You don’t need to be a first-time applicant — even homes that have received previous upgrades may still qualify for new supports.
****SEAI grants for tenants are available, but they are typically accessed through the landlord or through a scheme like the Warmer Homes scheme
SEAI offers grant support for a wide range of energy upgrades:
