The Best Practice Programme promotes proven energy management technologies and techniques, enabling energy users to be more energy efficient and ultimately more cost competitive. The Best Practice Programme’s activities are aimed primarily at Industry / Commerce which accounts for approximately 40% of total energy usage in Ireland.

These technologies are brought to a wider audience through integrated measures which are a sequenced set of actions designed to inform, educate and ultimately to support energy managers in investing further in proven energy management technologies and techniques. Measures include the hosting of seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, site visits and the publication of good practice guides and case studies.
